Midweek Musing

I promise that I'm not sitting here just musing about my wish list this year, but am super pumped that some boots from Urban arrived today. For the past 4 months all I can think about are boots. I have bought 5 pair in the past 3 weeks. I know it's ridiculous. I have tried them on, taken then off, practically created an excel chart in my head of the pro's and con's of each, and consulted The Man every night on what in the world I'm going to do. Flats or heels? Suede or smooth leather? Brown or black? Slouchy or straight? What about purple?

This thing of being indecisive and particular...It's not me. I make decisions. I get results. I don't wait. But, my dear husband's ways have influenced me, yet again. He is wishy-washy, does research on his purchases, and sits on the fence a little, but not me. He laughs and laughs, "Wow, Honey, I've never seen you like this." "I know! It sucks!"

I love your list. May I make a recommendation on the automatic toothbrush?? This was at the TOP of my list last year. I got the latest and greatest SONICARE toothbrush. Let me tell you that it is AMAZING. I will NEVER go back to the regular old toothbrush again. I don't know if it was my infatuation with really clean teeth or what. I didn't get it for x-mas so I bought it for myself. I think it was $125.00 and it was worth every penny and then some. I'm tellin ya, TRY IT!!

why not have 2?!! :) love the ones you decided on.

I have a sonicare toothbrush that dispenses toothpaste with the push of a button and i totally dig it!

must know where you got that shirt...please??! please?!!

Bret keeps an on going list of anything and everything I ever say that I want...it's sweet but I have learned to be sure and only voice things that I truly want because he seriously keeps a list of EVERY SINGLE THING i say that I want...
(yeah it's a long list...I think he starts a new one at the beginning of the year and my MPM has helped him a lot :D)

Love those boots. and the coat....glad you still look at alloy--I just ordered a dress from delias!

next time you're in the market for shoes (when aren't we?) try endless.com.

the possibilities are indeed, "endless", and they make it so easy for you to find exactly what you're looking for!

plus, free OVERNIGHT shipping, and free returns.

I should be a spokesperson for them.

fun list! That's the way to get what you want- I usually suggest things, and then M surprises me with his interpretations- always cute, rarely what I was asking for, but it all works out!

Love the boots! I usually give husband a list of the things I like in my stocking, and if there's one kind of expensive thing I want, I let it be known. Most of the time I have no ideas and he comes up with something great on his own. So far he's surprised me with tickets to Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables, so he does a good job without my help.

I love the tripod too. Hey, I keep meaning to ask your what brand is your remote shutter release? There are like 10 different kinds for my camera and I just don't know which one is good. They range from $10-$100.
I just didn't know if you were happy with your's.

Oh yeah I've had a sonicare for like 4 years now, my mother in-law bought it for me. It's freakin awesome.

i love boots. I just got a pair from piperlime and i feel so cool. doesn't it suck to go overboard on the whole research/decide/agonize and then the dreadful buyer's remorse? i totally feel your pain. i do the same.

Ooo...electric toothbrush. Wasn't on my list before, but totally is now. I think that's one I'm going to have to get for myself.

As for my gifts/list - the brother and parents get a list of items I really, really want (but won't necessarily buy for myself), the grandparents usually get a huge list of random things (my grandma is very big on quantity, so I try to help out a bit), and everyone else is pretty much left to their own devices. I love surprises (and I'm horrible at guessing, so I'm rarely disappointed).

the jacket is great, way to narrow down the boot choice. must have been hard, but maybe santa will surprise you?!?!
