For my Girls

Hi girls (it's Mom)
,

I just want to start by saying that I feel really bad and I am so so sorry. I hate cold sores too!

They hurt, they sting, are pussy, and scabby, and gross all around.

I feel really bad that I gave you both this sick little virus that ruined most of my school pictures growing up, accompanied me to my Junior Prom, and popped in on my honeymoon to say "hello!"

Photobucket

But you know, my mom gave it to me too! I say that we blame her - she's the one who started all this mess. I know...that won't make it right...Nothing will!

I still love you and think you are the 2 most beautiful girls in the whole wide world. So what if you have a nasty virus?

We have plenty of fun together...us three girls with our dirty virus:

Oh,
and while I have your attention - my little Bear - the toilet is not a giant fondue pot. Let's keep the binky out of it this week, okay?

Kisses,

Mom

OOOh we get them too! Well Reese and I, not yet on Q so far. It's SO SO SO SAD and has already ruined many pics. Mine are accompanied by good friends stress, pms, pregnancy, vinegar, kiwi, pineapple and salty foods.

Tinactin (yeah the athletes foot stuff) makes them disappear if you catch them before they split open. Otherwise, don't try it because it stings on an open blister like nobody's business.

I came across your blog and sorry if you don't want the info. or already know it I use to get cold sores so terribly and they hurt so bad. I had my dentist get me a huge bottle of Valtrex or Zovirax and take the normal 5 for 5 days then keep the rest on hand if you feel one coming take 2 then in awhile take 2 more. It works amaizing! The 5 thing usually takes them away for at least a year!

I feel for you, Scott gets them too. He had one the size of a quarter on our wedding day! Your girls are still so beautiful!

It could be worse... I have a friend who gets them on her eyelids :(

I also get The Nasties and Abreva works for me better than anything else.

Funny...I'm the one with them on the eyelids...ya I hope I don't pass that one on. Poor little girls. Abreva is the best (it numbs them too) and also taking the amino acid Lysine helps a bunch...but I don't know if you can give that to the little ones. Good luck!

you know I love your videos!! so sorry about your spots...I guess I'll consider myself lucky for only getting warty legs.

and sorry about the binky-in-toilet. next she'll be dunking in toilet paper and sucking the water out...ahhh...they grow so fast.

ahhhh the joys we pass on to our children. anthony fears theyll get my (small) teeth and gap. i fear theyll maintain high peaks in their hairline no thanks to anthony. why cant they just get the good stuff?

cute video too.

I don't even want to think about where Mia's binky could have been today that I don't know about. I just tell myself that it's building her immune system to not be in a sterile environment... And for what it's worth, I only remember you being prom queen. I don't remember your cold sore at all! There, don't you feel better?
