Crafty Thursday

Yesterday I received my first shipment of American Apparel blanks for Poppyseeds.
I got so excited that I started dying and sewing right away. I'll be putting up my new stuff over the next couple of weeks.

I'm so grateful that we have an extra room where I can make a huge mess and not have to worry about it. My days of sewing and crafting on the kitchen table are over. Our spare room is like my cave where we (me and the girls) spend a big part of our day. Blondie sits at her little desk and colors while I work on my projects. I remember doing the same thing with my mom when I was little. I used to love watching her paint and felt so special when she would take the time to teach me a thing or two.

Apparently (she says) I have to "get down and play now."

that extra space has got to be nice and well deserved. sounds like youve got two great girls if they let you work at all!

So cute! As soon as this kid gets here and gender is identified, I'm placing an order!

First off, I am super jealous of your new found "space." Stop rubbing it in!
Second of all, I love Ava's picture. It is so funny how boy and girls are so different when it comes to coloring or drawing at a young age (and sometimes it has nothing to do with whether it's a boy or girl). I still can't tell what Jackson is drawing and with Ava you can actually see a picture (5 legs and all). Ava likes to use a lot of colors and Jackson is content with just one. Maybe someday I will be able to tell what Jackson is drawing, maybe when he is 10.

american apparel supports "legalize la" in support of immigration reform and a path to legalization of hardworking undocumented workers in the US and that is awesome. they also have endorsed mccain and obama as presidential candidates based on their honest and realistic stance on immigration.

So I just finished lunch and decided to check out your blog. I LOVE it! I am fascinated with Etsy and handmade treasures. I love your stuff! I am so impressed with your skills. Thanks for coming to play today. Livi is still asking where Ava is. Talk to you soon.
